Beauty is only skin deep

Because of weather, the bball tourney was canceled for tonight. The organizers will try to squeeze in the three games scheduled tonight, into tomorrows schedule.

I did head over to work on the studio today, but I was told to come back next week. I'm not sure how long I want to keep this charade up. I might just have to look for a legitimate location and figure out how to pay for it.....it's potentially a chicken and egg dilemma.

Since I didn't have to travel and my studio work was canceled I decided to go to lunch. While sitting at my favorite table, a couple came in to sit at the table next to me. Of course, I looked at them. I didn't see him very well but he looked to maybe have played football in high school. That type of physical build. She was petite attractive with nice facial features to boot. I thought for a few seconds that maybe when I was done, to hand them a card to see if they would ever want their pictures taken.

Then she opened her mouth.

All I heard was stories about partying, staying up until morning, drugs, "group" activities, lots of cuss words when she was on the phone with her friends.....and much more. It was enough to ensure I would not pass her my card.

Now, I was thinking what is my role as a photographer.

Who am I to pass judgment on others because of their activities? I should only care about the right here and now, ween they sit for my camera. It is of no matter to me what they do.

Sitting....waiting

I am in a coffee shop here in town waiting for my vehicle to be inspected. The van sits across the street up on the lift. It's been up there for a while now, I an can see the dollar signs rising from the technician. The fee for the inspection is $53. But the gal that took my appointment also added "unless there's something wrong". Ohh, those are bad words to hear. I can only imagine what they could find.

Hopefully, I will be able to get the keys, pay the fee and get my state required inspection stickers on the windshield.

The snow started for fall early this morning as rain, then turned to snow. It's been falling non stop for 6-8 hours. It's not a heavy snow, but steady and small little flakes.

School is out and I am sure the kids are tearing up the house. The grandparents are home. It should be somewhat interesting on the total tension level this afternoon after the four of them have been together all day. I am also supposed to be heading to the studio to do some more work on the ceiling. I also have to put up more drywall in a stairway at home.....sigh....I just want to take pictures.

Lunch

When my bride has a day off, the four of us sometimes head to lunch together. Today included a bit of Christmas shopping as a bonus. Or maybe it was the shopping and lunch was the bonus.
